/ What I treat

Acute flare-ups. Chronic patterns. Old injuries that never fully healed.

Whether the pain is new or it's the same problem coming back again, care starts with understanding why it's happening — then combines adjustments, soft-tissue work, and targeted exercise to fix it.

Back Pain

Acute episodes and the chronic, stiff lower back that keeps "going out" — treated at the cause.

ACUTE + CHRONIC

Neck Pain

Achy, tight necks with restricted movement, and the heaviness across the shoulder blades that rides along.

ACUTE + CHRONIC

Headaches

Tension headaches — and even migraines — that often travel together with neck tightness.

CHRONIC

Shoulder & Rotator Cuff

Rotator cuff problems and restricted shoulders, informed by Buchberger rotator-cuff training.

REHAB

Sciatica

Radiating leg pain traced to its source — the spine, the hips, and the movement patterns feeding it.

ACUTE + CHRONIC

Pinched Nerve

Nerve irritation causing sharp pain, numbness, or tingling — relieved by restoring proper joint motion.

ACUTE

Auto Accident Injuries

Whiplash and crash injuries — thorough evaluation, documentation, and care. MedPay accepted; I'll work with your lawyer.

MEDPAY ACCEPTED

Sports Injuries

From youth athletes to seniors — recovery plus the strength and mobility work to prevent the next one.

PERFORMANCE

Work Injuries

On-the-job strains and repetitive-stress injuries. Workers' compensation insurance accepted.

WORKERS' COMP
/ Why pain returns

Most treatment chases the pain. I look for the why.

Many patients arrive at Georgetown Chiropractic with the same frustration:

"I've had this before." · "My back keeps going out." · "My neck always tightens up again." · "The treatment helped, but the pain came back."

Recurring pain usually has a cause beyond where it hurts — posture, old injuries, daily habits, and movement patterns. Finding it is what four decades of practice trains you to do.

01

I listen when you speak

Sounds simple — but if I really listen during the consultation without interrupting, patients often tell me exactly what's wrong and what we need to do to improve it.

02

A genuinely thorough evaluation

I look at more than where it hurts. Your history, daily activities, posture, movement patterns, and previous injuries all provide important clues.

03

No prepaid treatment plans

Even with 40 years of experience, I can't predict on day one exactly how long until you're better — so I'll never ask you to pay thousands upfront for "discounted" care.

04

Practical self-care, not dependence

You'll learn simple strategies that reduce flare-ups and keep you active between visits. My job is to help you get better — and stay better.

/ Your first visit · 45–60 minutes

You'll never feel rushed. You'll always know why.

Most patients say it's the most detailed assessment they've ever had.

STEP 01

A conversation first

Your symptoms, your story, your daily movement habits, and your goals. This isn't a rushed intake — it's how I understand you, not just your pain.

STEP 02

A spine-first movement assessment

A hands-on look at how your spine moves, where movement is restricted, and how your body compensates during everyday activities.

STEP 03

Clear, straightforward findings

Before any treatment: what I found, why it matters, and how it connects to your symptoms. Simple, honest, and practical — no pressure.

STEP 04

Treatment — often on day one

Gentle, targeted adjustments, soft-tissue work, and easy movements you can use immediately. Most patients leave feeling better than they walked in.

/ About Dr. Fox

Meet Dr. Leonard Fox.

For over 40 years, I've helped people move better, feel better, and return to the activities they enjoy. For the past 25, I've been proud to serve patients from Wilton, Ridgefield, Redding, Weston, Georgetown, and surrounding Fairfield County communities.

As a sole practitioner, every visit is one-on-one. There are no assistants, no rushed appointments, and no one-size-fits-all plans. I've been fortunate to study with some of the very best in chiropractic, rehabilitation, and soft-tissue therapy — and what stuck with me was their common thread: look beyond where the pain is and ask why it's there in the first place.

Outside the office, you'll find me exploring Fairfield County with my wife Charlene, at concerts, on hiking trails — or doing TRX, nunchucks, and lake-noodle workouts. Fluid, coordinated, full-body movement, with a sense of fun.

"Move better. Feel better. Keep doing the things you love."

I have had a bad back for 25 years... Since I have been seeing Dr. Fox, I have not had a back episode in over 5 years. When I told my orthopedic, he smiled and said he knew Dr. Fox — and that Dr. Fox was a "healer."
